1. Information we collect
When you create a KOT99 account we collect the details you provide, such as your name, restaurant
information, and an optional phone number or email address. As you use KOT99 we also store the
operational data you generate, including orders, bills, menu items, tables, inventory records, and
staff activity within your restaurant workspace.
We also collect basic device information and crash diagnostics to keep the app stable, and payment
details processed by the payment provider shown at checkout (Razorpay, Cashfree or Google Play)
when you purchase or manage a Gold plan.
2. How we use your information
Your information is used to operate your restaurant workspace, generate bills, reports and invoices,
sync your data across devices, and provide customer support. We do not sell your personal data to
third parties.
Our team may also use your contact details to reach out to you about your plan, upcoming renewals,
relevant offers, product updates, or to follow up on a support request. If you would rather not
receive these messages, you can tell our support team and we will honor that request wherever it
does not affect essential account or billing notices.
3. Data storage and security
Your data is stored locally on your device for fast, offline-first access and synced to secure cloud
infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud) for backup and multi-device access. We use reasonable
technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, loss, or
misuse.
4. Sharing of information
We share data only with service providers necessary to run KOT99 — payment processing (Razorpay, Cashfree or Google Play),
cloud hosting and infrastructure (Firebase / Google Cloud), and notification delivery — and only to
the extent required to provide those services, or when required by law.
5. Your choices
You can review and update your restaurant profile at any time from the app. You may request deletion
of your account and associated data, or opt out of non-essential contact, by writing to us at
support@kot99.in.
6. Children's privacy
KOT99 is a business tool for restaurant operators and staff. It is not directed at children, and we
do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. Continued
use of KOT99 after an update takes effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
